GARRY WINOGRAND
Garry Winogrand was a street photographer from the Bronx, New York, known for his portrayal of American life, and its social issues, in the mid-20th century. His interest was the rhythm of the streets and the people who created it. his work is very abstract as he always takes his photos when something is happening. in this image the artists has used a variety of tone. using natural light he has managed to make the darker tones sand out and the lighter tone almost invisible. by doing this, it has created a very visible image. in this image the frame is also a very important fact because, he has made show that every person in this picture has its own sorry, like the fact that the cripple guy is in the middle of all these working class people and none of them look consent about it. In this image there is a lot of texture been showed, from the floor were the cripple guy is crawling to the wall were the guy is lining on. looking at this image you immediately notice this element because of how the light shines on them. this image was taking straight on at eye level. by doing this he has mange to get everyone in the frame which creates a very busy effect.

BRASSAI
Brassaï was a Hungarian photographer, sculptor, writer, and filmmaker who rose to international fame in France in the 20th century. He was one of the numerous Hungarian artists who flourished in Paris beginning between the World Wars. Most of his work was influenced from the war and don't really have that much in them. in this image he is using the street light as his main source of light because the image was photographed in the night. the positions at which his standing in this image determine where the lights falls in the image. the image was taken at the side because of how you can see the crave in the drainage, by doing this it has created very strong shadows. this image has very obvious textures which is the floor and the little water parts you see in the image, they are very obvious to notice because they are the only things that stand out in this image. the framing of this image is very presize as he has made show that he include the whole pattern that the drainage has created, by doing this he has made the drainage the center of interest,

BERENICE ABBOTT
Berenice Abbott is remembered as one of the most independent determined and respected photographer of the twentieth century. she was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 17, 1898. Abbott recounted a lonely, unhappy childhood. however later in life she attributed her strong characteristics of self-reliance, determination and independence to her unfortunate childhood experience. she takes images from all categories but the ones that i fine interesting are her architectural images because of how elegant but simple the images look. she has used natural day light in this image to create a very strong tone between those buildings in the image. because the image is taken a such a low point, it make the shadow reflecting on the buildings very harsh due to this you can see every pattern that is created on the buildings. in this image i have also noticed that she has kept everything i force but due to the really strong light the building in the middle stands out the most. also noticed that because she has pointed the camera from below it creates and illusion that the building are very high up. i really like the framing of this image because if she could have included any more buildings, it would have made the image look very crowed, but the fact that she included just these building makes the image very clean and elegant.

ROBERT MAPPLETHOPE
Robert Mapplethorpe was an American photographer, known for his sometimes controversial large-scale, highly stylized black and white photography. His is work featured an variety of subjects including celebrity portraits, male and female nudes, self-portraits and still-life images of flowers. He uses man made lights in his images because must of them are portraits. I will say his use of light is very strong because it makes some parts on his models body stand out more. The main point of texture in this image is obviously the muscles on his models body, due to the way his posing and the amount of light that's reflecting on his body. he obviously made sure that the model is in full forcus and nothing else, but the fact that is face isn't in the framing show that the main focus is his body.
